Anna Maria Horner Lecture

7 pm on Friday 29 November at the Fenwick School Hall, Oamaru.

During the Lecture, Anna Marie shares her path in patchwork and design. She presents 15-22 quilts that illustrate her creative process as a fine artist, fabric designer and self taught quilter. Throughout the lecture she makes note of her influences that run the gamut from her family heirlooms to fashion runways to Matisse paintings.

Scattered Flowers Tote Class

One day class

Contact me if your group would like to do this class. I am happy to travel to a venue organised by your group.

The tote bag is easily constructed and you will also learn the techniques used to scatter the flowers around the bag. A fun class with a small group so lots of individual help available!

Stitch in the Shed – English Paper Piecing

The Quilting Shed runs an English Paper piecing Stitching Group on the first Wednesday of every month.

You are welcome to have a go at EPP by making the pincushion (pictured above) designed by Helen Laney for The Quilting Shed or work on your own English Paper Piecing project.

We start at 10am and stitch until about 3pm. Tea and Coffee is provided but you need to bring your own lunch.

The day is free of charge but please register as space is limited.

Stitch in the Shed – Working with Wool

The Quilting Shed runs a Wool Stitching Group on the third Wednesday of every month.

You are welcome to have a go at a small wool sampler as pictured above or work on your own Wool Stitching project.

We start at 10am and stitch until about 3pm. Tea and Coffee is provided but you need to bring your own lunch.

The day is free of charge but please register as space is limited.
